LA CROSSE, Wis., May 3, 2022 ― Specialty construction firm J.F. Brennan Company (Brennan) formally announces its acquisition of California-based Harbor Offshore, Inc (HOI). HOI specializes in commercial diving, marine construction, maritime security barriers, and submarine cable installation.

Not only does the acquisition bring submarine cabling and maritime security barrier expertise to Brennan; it expands Brennan's operations geographically. With the addition of licensing along the West Coast, Hawaii, and Alaska, Brennan is now operable in all 50 states.

Last fall, J.F. Brennan Company, Inc. (Brennan) crews successfully concluded environmental remediation efforts after 3.5 years on the Grasse River in Massena, NY. This project had a challenging scope involving dredging, material processing, water treatment, mussel relocation, capping, and habitat restoration. Through a combination of strong teamwork and outstanding production efficiencies, our team completed every phase of work and executed a safe demobilization. Here’s how we did it.

80 years old and 35 years since its last rehab, LaGrange Lock and Dam in Versailles, IL was in major need of rehabilitation.
