    The Ahtna - Brennan JV partnership establishes a mentor protégé relationship between J.F. Brennan Company (Brennan) and Alaska Native Corporation subsidiary Ahtna Marine & Construction Company, LLC (AMCC).

    Who is Ahtna?

    Ahtna Marine & Construction Company, LLC (AMCC) is an SBA 8(a) certified small business and wholly owned subsidiary of Ahtna, Incorporated. As a marine contractor, AMCC is highly experienced in hydraulic and mechanical dredging, land clearing, grading, and site development and specializes in beach renourishment, shoreline protection, wetland enhancement, and marina and port development.

    Ahtna, Incorporated (pronounced “Aht-na”) is one of 13 Alaska Native Regional Corporations established by Congress under terms of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. Owned by more than 2,000 shareholders, the majority of whom are of Ahtna Athabascan descent, many Ahtna shareholders still reside in the Ahtna region, the traditional homeland of the Ahtna people.
