Sediment Transport

Brennan uses several methods of material transport to effectively deliver the contaminated sediments from the dredge to the separation and treatment areas.  Each method is specifically tailored to best fit each environmental dredging project.

Methods of Contaminated Sediment Transport

  • HDPE Pipeline Transport
    • Brennan uses high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipeline to transport sediments as a safe and cost-effective method to ensure that materials remain within the sealed transport system to eliminate unintended cross contamination or leakages. – Learn More
  • Barge Transport
    • Barge transport is often used for moving dredged materials to treatment facilities. Brennan owns and maintains four types of barges that can be used to transport dredge solids.  – Learn More
