Concrete Repairs – Pile Jackets

Pile jackets can be used to re-establish the strength of deteriorated concrete, steel or wooden piling.  Piles in marine environments experience damage as a result of exposures to the wind, ice, sea salts, micro-organisms in the water, and wave action.  These exposures deteriorate the piles and impact their service life.  Pile jackets provide an economical repair and strengthening of the pile members.

After the deteriorated concrete, steel and or wood are removed from the pile, structural steel cages are built around the jacket for strength.  Fabric jackets with zippers are easily installed around the pile and a concrete mixture of cement,
aggregates, water and admixtures are placed into the pile jacket form.

Pile jackets provide a durable and adaptable alternative to pile replacement at a
fraction of the cost.
